Kiev Food & Wine Festival» is the first wine-gastronomic festival in Kiev, the objectives of which is to popularize Ukrainian wine, raising the wine culture of the Ukrainians and stimulating the development of wine industry in Ukraine.
The main focus of the festival is made on Ukrainian wine with representing the major wine companies, new Ukrainian wine and private wineries from all over Ukraine. Also at the festival presents popular and rare wines of the New and Old World. Ukrainian sommeliers, winemakers and foreign companies’ representatives will come to Kiev to share experiences within the lectorial program of the festival. During almost every lecture guests will have the opportunity to evaluate the wine with the help from the experts.

As part of the festival guests expect several locations:
• Wine market: Ukrainian winemakers will present wines from all over the country and wine shops will present Old World wine (Europe) and New World (USA, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Argentina) with the possibility of tasting.
• Gastro market: Ukrainian and foreign companies and farmers will present food that is perfectly combined with wine.
• The workshops zone: Ukrainian winemakers will share the secrets of wine production, sommeliers will talk about the right choice of wine and proper food combinations, artisans will teach to reuse wine corks and empty bottles and many more.
• The recreation area with a gallery of cork art (pictures made with wine corks), atmospheric music, games and comfortable seating.

In addition to the festival, Ukrainian capital will host a real week of wine: lectures by Ukrainian winemakers, sommeliers and other wine experts, dedicated to wine and wine culture, will take place in a number of wine bars and restaurants.

Kiev Food & Wine Festival is a gastronomic open-air festival, which aims to create a culture of proper wine consumption and appreciation as well as to develop the gastro ethics standards.
