February is full of bright concerts of emerging musicians from all over the world in Kiev. However, surprises do not end at this point. This month, the Ukrainian capital also gets a chance to hear once more great songs of legendary bands, performed by the upcoming Ukrainian artists.
Bowie Night
Over a half-century, David Bowie’s performances changed the appearance of world music. Today, Bowie is invisibly present in the DNA of nearly every modern song. It is difficult to find a singer or a band who were not affected and influenced by his creativity.

One of the most famous Kiev night clubs is going to host on its stage Ukrainian musicians will honor the cult singer, performing cover versions of his best tracks.

Music named Ennio Morricone
The stage of the Ukrainian House in Kiev is hosting National Academic Wind Orchestra of Ukraine with a concert dedicated to the works of prominent contemporary composer Ennio Morricone.

The Hardkiss

The Hardkiss is a young Ukrainian band with great potential and an ambition for international fame. Their music is both sweet and languid, with hints of hardcore, diluted with English verses. In fact, such a combination determined the name of the band. Since 2011, the duo has grown into a full rock band with two guitarists, a drummer, a keyboardist and the lead singer who is also responsible for writing lyrics and music.

Joy Division
This half-play and half-concert is definitely one of the unmissable things to see in Kiev for the fans of Joy Division and post-punk lovers.
For the first time in Ukraine, you will see a performance, during which the audience is encouraged to sing and dance, and will get to the concert, which impresses with vivid act.

God Is An Astronaut

One of the most famous in the world of post-rock bands, the Irish collective God Is An Astronaut is coming to Kiev to present their eighth album. This peculiar creative team, formed by twin brothers Niels and Torsten Kinsella, defies comparison and certainly amaze many music lovers. Multilayer arrangements, ambient motifs, bright rhythm composition and even space rock in the extreme degree of aesthetics: all this will be on the stage of the night club in Kiev city center, masterfully interwoven into a unique show with psychedelic visual effects.

Balthazar
After big success at festivals Sziget, Werchter, Pukkelpop, Lowlands and others, the band is going to perform at one of the best clubs in Kiev. Belgian musicians know good rock: European music lovers can confirm this statement. The band first met in 2004 and after a few years of gaining experience with touring through Europe and South Africa, they released their debut album ‘Applause’, which quickly became a bestseller in Belgium. In 2015, Balthazar released their third album, ‘Thin Walls’, recorded with DepecheMode’s producer Ben Hiller.
