The festival, dedicated to the Day of Kyiv, will bring together 5 different stages and more than 40 artists who, according to the organizers, should show the different historical areas of the formation of Kyiv musical culture: from the times of Baroque music to the 21st century. In Sofiyivska and Kontraktova Squares there will also be food courts with treats from the organizers and children's play areas.

The main stage of the festival will be located in Sofiyivska Square, three side scenes will be organized in Mykhailivska Square, Peizazhna (Landscape) Alley and Andriyivsky Descent. In addition, Kontraktova Square will host the ‘Young Stage’, which will present emerging Kyiv artists, and Poshtova will become the food and merchandising venue for the festival.
‘Ukrainian interactive art space’, where everyone will be able to plunge into the ancient Ukrainian tradition and participate in arts and crafts workshops, will be held in beautiful Kioto Park. Here the guests will receive a chance to get acquainted with traditional Ukrainian cuisine, learn folk songs, dance and play musical instruments.
May 28 and 29, in the evening, the 3D-show ‘Innovation born in Ukraine’, which will provide guests with an overview of legendary Ukrainian inventions of the 20th century, will be conducted on the façade of the building of Kyiv City Hall.

As an inseparable part of the Day of Kyiv, a number of sports events will take place around the city: International Bicycle Race HORIZON PARK SLASSIK, sports charity action ‘Chestnut Run, which takes place in Kyiv for already 24 years in a row, athletics run, regatta, tennis tournament and city championship of family sports.
