The holidays start on the 19thof December – Saint Nicolas Day.
Traditionally the celebration will take place at the Sofia Square. The residence of St. Nicholas will be located here. The holy man will be waiting for kids. The children will have an opportunity not only to see and to talk to Saint Nicolas but also to learn how to make hand craft Christmas gifts with the help of famous Ukrainians. The one will be able to find cafes with national cuisine, exhibitions, Christmas market and the railway for kids over here. Anyone can take part in different competitions: "The best Christmas toy", "Christmas tree for St. Nicholas", "Gingerbread house". There will be concerts, shows and interesting master classes and some very pleasant surprises for children and their parents.
At St. Michael's Square, close to Sofia Square, there will be real winter playground for kids with 6 ice slides, 2 carrousels, a ferris wheel, a skating rink and two kinds of trains. Christmas Fair on Vladimirsky passage will connect the two entertainment zones of Sofia and Michael’s Squares.
