Mulled Wine Festival
Mulled wine is delicious. This is a fact. And drinking it makes you happy. It’s another fact. And it is a staple of Christmas and you look forward to it all year long. Now that the winter is over, it’s time to say good bye to our beloved winter drink and the best way to do it is probably to visit the Mulled Wine Festival in Lviv happening on the first spring days.

Lviv Fashion Week
Lviv Fashion Week is an international project held according to the world fashion weeks ready-to-wear standards. Lviv Fashion Week has been held biannually in Lviv since 2008, in spring and autumn. Now, it is one of the largest fashion events in Eastern Europe which hosts more than 12 000 visitors and a large number of international guests - editors, photographers, bloggers and insiders of fashion industry each season. Ukrainian and international designers present new seasonal collections. Apart from the main venue Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport, events of Lviv Fashion Week take place on various locations of the city center to attract attention of international guests and Lviv dwellers to Lviv’s landmarks.

Blacksmith Festival
Lviv Blacksmith Festival will be the celebration of the art of the blacksmith held on Museum Square, one of the most beautiful locations of the city. The festival will feature several invited demonstrators who share their talents at the festival, vendor blacksmiths selling their wares, and demonstrating techniques in their booths, a free hands-on tent, where the public can sign up to try their hands at blacksmithing, assisted by blacksmith volunteers. Live music, dancing and dining are part of the event as well as lively exhibitions and education.

Easter in Shevchenkivsky Gai
Easter in Shevchenkivsky Gai folk festival will be happening over the Easter weekend of April 16th and 17th. Here you can discover authentic Ukrainian Orthodox Easter traditions, listen to the oldest Ukrainian Easter songs called «gayivky» and taste traditional Ukrainian Easter food («paska» festive bread, roasted sausages and traditional liquors). Shevchenkivky Gai is an open-air museum that displays different regional styles of farmsteads, windmills, churches and schools which dot a huge park to the east of the city center. Everything is pretty spread out here and a visit involves a lot of footwork.

Flugery Lvova (Lviv Vanes)
This is a well stablished and beloved by locals ethno-jazz festival in Lviv. The festival has been gathering all the jazz enthusiasts, musicians and singers in Lviv since 2003. Flugery Lvova (which can be translated as Lviv vanes) will be traditionally taking place in the inner courtyard of Lviv City Council, more commonly known as Ratusha, located on Rynok Square.

Batyar Day
You’ll get a unique opportunity to dive into stylistics and atmosphere of the authentic Lviv phenomenon – the Batyars’ World. That is a world with its own street language and city folklore of the beginning of the XX century. Lviv Batyar is a freedom – loving, witty, gallant and romantic idler. Concerts of Batyars’ bands, different funny competitions, and quizzes for children, retro – movie festival, Batyars’ songs and dances master classes for everybody, as well as tasty refreshments and drinks are everywhere to please all the participants of the city holiday.
