The event will be held with the support of the Embassies of Canada, Belgium, Lebanon, Morocco, France and Switzerland as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Alliance Française Ukraine.
Francophonie, sometimes also spelt Francophonia in English, is the quality of speaking French. The term designates the ensemble of people, organizations and governments that share the use of French on a daily basis or/and as administrative language, teaching language or chosen language.

Francophonie Days in Kyiv mission is to promote the French language and Francophone culture. Fostering cross-cultural exchanges among the Francophone world and local communities, presenting cultural events showcasing the richness and diversity of Francophone cultures around the world, organizing French language workshops for students are among festival’s key purposes.
