The idea of the festival is to acquaint the residents and guests of Kiev not only with the traditional Jewish culture, but also with a multi-faceted contemporary Jewish world. Guests of the festival will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of traditional Jewish celebration, learn more about history and culture of the Jews and open up modern Jewish world: inventions, startups, cinema, social and volunteer programs, successful commercial and business projects.

Hillel jeWish Fest will feature several directions. Firstly, the lectures, presentations and meetings with famous businesspersons, designers, ‘startupers’ and artists of Jewish origin will be held during all day. Secondly, young and well-known brands and entrepreneurs of Jewish origin will participate in the fair, where books, jewelry, traditional attributes, female hats, leather goods, cosmetics and more will be sold. Moreover, nobody will get bored with music performances, Israeli dancing, and creative workshops for the manufacture of traditional Jewish symbolism: ritual candles, ornaments and home décor.

Food courts at the festival will represent a variety of traditional Eastern European Jewish and modern Arab-Israeli cuisines: hummus, falafel, shawarme, mincemeat, vorshmack, kosher wine, traditional sweets and many more. The youngest guests of the festival will be able to participate in special children's entertainment program.
