The purpose of the event is to remind the public about the importance of caring about their health and about the health of the planet.
This year's jubilee Earth Hour traditionally was held by the hotel within the framework of the Responsible Business program. It is based on three main principles: Think people - Think community - Think planet. It means that we must take care of people around us, unite the community to reach goals and take care of the planet all together. Earth Hour - Yoga Hour is a great opportunity to combine all these three activities.
Yoga masters Dmitry Yatsenko and his wife Olga hold a useful and atmospheric yoga class with a practice of complete relaxation at the end and then with fragrant tea and smoothies.
Meanwhile, in the hotel’s restaurant a culinary master class for teens "How to cook without electricity" from sous-chef Oksana Garbuza were held.
At 20:30 lights all over the hotel were ceremoniously turned off for 1 hour. The powerful exterior lights were off as well, so the fire show from the fire theater ProtyNochi was very impressive.
The symbol of Earth Hour "60+" means that caring about the Earth and preserving its resources should last not only 60 minutes but 24/7.
