This year, the days of Europe will be held on May 21-22, 2016 at Mykhaylivska Square in Kiev. The festival will begin with the opening ceremony in the afternoon of Saturday. Interactive and creative projects from the embassies and international cultural centers, street music festival ‘Street Music Day’ with musicians from different cities of Europe and street food festival will be held during the weekend. In addition, sports competitions, creative workshops and special area for children will be also waiting for Kiev residents and the guests of the capital.

Along with interactive installation ‘The door to Europe’, which will allow everyone to visit one of the European capitals, regular walking tour ‘Kiev is a European city’ will offer the English-speaking audience to get acknowledged with Kiev’s main sights: Saint Michael's Cathedral, Saint Sophia Cathedral, Khreshchatyk, Independence Square, European Square and the panoramic area near the Arch of Friendship of Peoples.

- 8pm: the performance of German band ‘Dicht und Ergreifend’
- 9pm: the concert of Ukrainian electronic music star ONUKA
- 11pm: film screening of classics of European cinema on the big screen in an unusual ‘silent format’ - the audience will be given headphones not to get distracted by the surrounding sounds.
