Atlas Weekend festival was established in 2015 by Atlas music venue and PMK Event Agency. The main purposes of Atlas Weekend are to develop festival culture in Ukraine, to attract foreign tourists to the country and to popularize Ukrainian music in the world.
The first Atlas Weekend festival took place at Art-Zavod Platforma in Kyiv in 2015. The event lasted two days and attracted around 20 000 people; 30 artists performed on 2 stages. Line-up mainly consisted of Ukrainian artists such as Boombox, The HARDKISS and Pianoboy. In 2016, Atlas Weekend was held on the territory of Expocenter of Ukraine on 8-10 July. This time the festival offered performances of 130 artists on 6 scenes. Atlas Weekend format became international, so line-up included many foreign bands such as The Subways, Apocalyptica, GusGus and other.

In 2017, Atlas Weekend music festival is going to be held at Expocenter of Ukraine on 28 June-2 July. This year, the festival is notable for the joint projects with Jazz Koktebel, Krayina Mriy, Gogolfest, Street Culture, Kiev Fire Fest, Vsi Svoyi and other well-known Ukrainian festivals and projects. Music Hub musical educational conferences, which will include discussions, lectures and master-classes of Ukrainian and foreign experts, will be held in the frame of Atlas Weekend for the first time. Kasabian, the famous British rock band, and The Prodigy, the monsters of electronic music, are the main headliners of the festival. The list of other bands, which will play on Atlas Weekend, include Röyksopp, John Newman, Three Days Grace, Nothing But Thieves, Alex Clare, Boombox, The Hardkiss, Monatik, Brainstorm, Noize MC and many other.

The entry to the first day of the festival (28 June) will be free for everyone due to the Constitution Day, which is the national holiday. This day`s line-up include mostly Ukrainian artists. Green Gray and Vopli Vidoplyasova, the famous Ukrainian bands, will be headliners of this day.
Kasabian will be the stars of the second day, 29 June. The band will play its well-known hits and also will present songs from their new album, For Crying Out Loud.
On 30 June, Atlas Weekend main stage will be headed by The Prodigy. The band was established in the beginning of 90s as an underground project, but quickly gained popularity all over the world. They can still be called the kings of world rave music.
Röyksopp, the Norwegian electronic duet, will be the headliner of 1 July. This will be the first performance of the band in Ukraine. Musicians will play their best-known hits as well as songs from their new album, which is called The Inevitable End.
The last festival day, 2 July, will be full of bright performances of many Ukrainian artists, including O. Torvald band, which has presented Ukraine on Eurovision 2017 song contest. Well-known foreign artists, such as Jay-Jay Johanson, will also delight visitors with their music shows.
Festival tent camp will work all 5 days on the territory of Expocenter of Ukraine. Those who love to party non-stop will surely enjoy staying there. The secured camp territory will provide free bathrooms, showers, sports activities, storages. Tents and sleeping bags will be provided at additional charge.
