On 2018 Women`s Day, the best female jazz vocalists of the country will get together to sing the most famous songs of their eminent ancestresses: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Etta James, Nina Simone and other. The singers will be supported by “Virtuosos of Kyiv” orchestra and plenty of talented jazzmen. All jazz songs and rhythms of this beautiful spring evening will be dedicated to women – the inspiring muses of our world. “Women of Jazz” concert is purposed to express admiration and gratitude to all women, so it is a great chance to delight your girlfriend, wife, sister, mom or grandmother with an amazing musical gift.

Sukhishvili Ballet

Men`s ballet performed by the best Georgian dancers – what can be a better present for any woman? Georgian Sukhishvili Ballet with more than 50 years of history made the whole world talk about Georgian folk dance. Woman in Love

Specially for Women`s Day, the National Wind Orchestra of Ukraine organizes an unusual musical performance. The purpose of all compositions played at this event is to describe a woman in love: tender, passionate, unpredictable and spontaneous. During this evening, guests will listen to the iconic songs about love performed by the best Ukrainian artists accompanied by romantic instrumental music. The program of the event includes songs of such stars as Whitney Houston, Tom Jones, Boney-M, Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles, ABBA, Lara Fabian, Edit Piaf and many other.

“Operetta, Operetta, Operetta!” Concert in the National Philharmonic Hall

On this Women`s Day, the National Wind Orchestra of Ukraine have prepared s special program for all the lovers of classic music. All ladies (together with gentlemen, of course) are invited to listen to the best melodies composed by Johann Strauss, Franz Lehár, Emmerich Kálmán, Franz von Suppé, Tikhon Khrennikov and Jacques Offenbach. The compositions will be performed by experienced professional Ukrainian musicians.

Ladies Run Race

The festive Ladies Run Race in the heart of Kyiv will be held in honor of spring, beauty and all the charming women. However, gentlemen are also welcome to take part in the event. In such way, they can dedicate their victory to beloved women and get a prize for them. The race will be divided into two 5-km races: the race of beauties and men`s race in honor of women. Big Women`s Rally 2018

This year, “Big Women`s Rally”, organized by Kyiv City Automobile and Motorcycle club for March 8, celebrates its 20th anniversary. This event will turn your day into a true adventure. All ladies` crews are welcome to take part. A crew has to consist of the first driver (pilot) and the second driver (navigator). All participants have to register by writing an email to Rally Secretariat on address kmamk23@ukr.net; or by filling an online form. Hurry up, the number of crews is limited to 50, and registration of the pilots is possible only until March 3 (information on the second driver can be issued until March 8).

Women`s Day in Ancient Kyiv

Women`s March “Do Not Take It Any More”

On March 8, all socially active ladies will gather in the center of Kyiv to join a peaceful march dedicated to the original ideas of Women`s Day. Their purpose is to prove that feminism is not a synonym of man-like behavior, but a request for respectful attitude. Hundreds of women, who want to protect their rights for acceptance, understanding and support, will come to the square.
