The list of the participants consists of the most virtuosic municipal, national and other independent music bands, including three orchestras and two choruses. The audience will enjoy marching drummers show, hammered dulcimers performance, colorful VJ-show and two DJ sets.

Kyiv dwellers and guests will hear performances of the following artists and bands:
– municipal academic male-voice chapel choir named after L.M. Revutsky and “Impressio” quartet;
– academic folk-ethnographic band “Kalyna”;
– national ensemble of soloists “Kyiv Camerata”;
– composer Alexander Saratsky, soloists Lana Merkulova and Aniko Dolidze;
– marching drummers band “Drum Art”;
– “G-Art” band;
– state academic symphonic orchestra of Ukraine (“Kyiv Fantastic Orchestra”);
– national academic orchestra of Ukrainian folk instruments.
In general, around 400 artists will take part in the event.
The grand Kyiv City Day concert is organized by “Agency of theatre and concert activity support” company. The concert is directed by Alla Demura, cofounder of Yesins independent private theatre in Kyiv. Professional singer Olga Babych and the participant of “Voice of the Country” show Valeriy Velychko will be the masters of ceremonies at the event.

The agency is planning to involve fifty volunteers to participate in five entertaining vocal and choreographic flashmobs during the grand Kyiv City Day concert. The volunteers will have a chance to meet and to work with professional team of artists that includes brilliant musicians and singers of the leading Ukrainian bands.

8-hour Concert on Kyiv Day Celebration
On the last weekend of May, Ukrainian capital traditionally celebrates the City Day. As usual, many bright events dedicated to this holiday will take place on Kyiv streets. The grand 8-hour long concert on Khreschatyk, the main street of the capital, will surely be one of the most exciting of them. On May 27, the great show will take place on a large open-air stage near Kyiv State Administration at the address Khreschatyk, 36. Let`s see which talented artists are going to delight us with their perfect voices and music.
