Renowned Ukrainian Pianist-Virtuoso and Composer Yevhen Khmara to perform in Bern for the first time

Evgen Khmara

Evgen Khmara, a maestro whose music heals souls and rekindles faith in miracles, will perform in Switzerland for the first time. This charitable concert by the pianist will take place on October 11 at the Yehudi Menuhin Forum in Bern.

Evgen Khmara is a celebrated Ukrainian composer and pianist whose music videos have garnered over 130 million views on YouTube. He has released six studio albums, earned the title of Yamaha Artist, received the "Composer of the Year 2020" award, and serves as an ambassador for companies such as Volvo and Turkish Airlines.

Evgen has repeatedly represented Ukraine at the White House (USA), Buckingham Palace (UK), Middle Eastern countries, China, and European Union countries. One of Evgen's most grandiose shows was a large solo concert in Kyiv featuring a 200-piece orchestra and a 100-member choir.

Since the onset of the full-scale war initiated by Russia against Ukraine, Evgen Khmara has held over 70 charitable concerts.

"I always say that music has the power to touch human souls. Therefore, it's precious for me to perform, knowing that I can contribute to a good cause and inspire others to do the same through music. Because our main task now is to be of service to our country, to Ukrainians. I feel an incredible strength in what I do. Because when we talk about Ukraine, we showcase our culture, we continue our struggle for life in any way we can," says Evgen.

The goal of Evgen Khmara's upcoming concert in Switzerland, held under the patronage of the charitable foundation of Ukrainian TV host Ivanna Onufriychuk, IvaLive Foundation, is to raise funds in support of educational and cultural programs for Ukrainian refugee children.

These children need support abroad and assistance in integrating into a new society. They face significant stress daily - new living conditions and rules, a different language, and new people. Over the past year, over 13,000 Ukrainian schoolchildren have joined Swiss schools. Hence, cultural and educational programs are being developed specifically for these children.

Ivanna Onufriychuk is a Ukrainian celebrity, television host, philanthropist, and founder of the IvaLive Foundation. Since February 2022, her foundation has been operating in Switzerland, assisting Ukrainian children forced to adapt to a new life far from their homeland.

"In these challenging times for our country, when hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian children were forced to seek refuge abroad, I feel my mission is to help and support them. I constantly meet wonderful and talented Ukrainian children! I believe they should have a childhood, and their talents and abilities must be developed. They had to grow up too quickly... That's why our foundation aims to establish talent development centers for children, to provide them with opportunities for learning, self-expression, socialization, and personal growth," says Ivanna.

Ivanna will be the host of this charitable evening. DestiNations.ua is a co-organizer of the event and its media partner.

We invite you to join this beautiful cultural event, which will undoubtedly unite hearts for the future.
