New Exhibition at Khanenko Museum in Kiev

Photo: Khanenko MuseumKhanenko Museum is currently presenting seventeen paintings from the Castelvecchio museum's collection in Verona. These works were stolen from the museum in November, 2015 and have been recently found in Ukraine.

The Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko Museum is holding an exhibition of paintings by Italian masters from the Castelvecchio Museum in Verona. Last year, in November, the robbers stole seventeen works from the museum, but in May they were found in Odessa region.
The exhibition includes seventeen paintings, among which there are Pisanello’s ‘Madonna of the Quail’, Bellini’s ‘Saint Jerome’, ‘Portrait of Lady with Flowers’ by Rubens, ‘Portrait of a Boy’ by Carotto and famous Tintoretto’s ‘Madonna’.
