"Israeli Film Week" starts on September the 8th in five cities of Ukraine: Kyiv (September 8, "Kyiv cinema"), Odessa (September 8, “Inoteatr”), Vinnitsa (September 16, “Family cinema”), Kharkiv (September 22, “8 ½ cinema”) and Lviv (September 22, "Copernicus" Theatre movie Palace).

In the capital of Ukraine "Israeli Film Week" begins on September the 8th at 8:30 p.m. in "Kyiv" cinema with “Story of love and darkness" movie, the debut director's work of Natalie Portman, which was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2015.
The film tells about the life of the famous writer and journalist Amos Oz. The action takes place in 1940-s years in Jerusalem, where the future novelist spent his childhood. The plot is about Oz’s relationship with his mother and his first steps towards writing.
Members of the most prestigious film festivals in the world and the Cannes Film Festival, Berlinale nominees of "Golden Globe" awards, rulers of Israel and the Jerusalem Film Festival and Film Academy are among other films of the event. Films program are shown in the original language with English and Ukrainian subtitles.
