Umka
Umka ice rink is located on 145/147 Dobrovolskoho Avenue in a 30-minute drive from Odesa downtown. The rink is also accessible by public transport: numerous mini-busses (marshrutkas) and trams #1, 7 and 8 go here. The nearest stop is Makhachkalinska.
Every day the rink hosts discos on the ice, celebrations for kids and parties for adults. Besides, Umka hosts hockey matches and training. That's why it's important to note that on Tuesdays and Thursdays (7 - 9.30 P.M.) the rink is booked for hockey.
The 2018-2019 season prices depend on the weekday. An hour of ice skating costs UAH 70 on Mon-Fri and UAH 90 on Sat-Sun. Umka has a special offer for Tuesday nights - night ice skating. From 10 P.M. to 1 A.M., the session costs UAH 100 per person. Besides, you have to make a UAH 40 deposit in a cafe. It's necessary to sign up beforehand. Ldinka
Ldinka ice rink is located on 29A, Akademika Filatova Street not far from the Horky Park. While the rink is popular among the professional skaters, rookies and amateurs enjoy coming here as well. Ldinka provides an opportunity to skate late in the evening. Besides, a figure skating is also based here.
This Odesa ice rink works from 6 to 10 P.M. on Mon-Fri and from 12 to 10 P.M. on weekends. As for the prices, the tariffs differ depending on the day of the week. On Mon-Fri, the adult ticket costs UAH 100 per 2 hours, and the child ticket is UAH 80. On Sat-Sun, an hour of skating costs UAH 80 for adults and UAH 60 for kids. The skates are rented for free without deposits. Moreover, there's a small shop of hockey equipment on the site.
Shevchenko Park
Lunapark is another popular ice skating location in Odesa. It is located in Shevchenko park, not far from the Lanzheron beach and the Black Sea coast. The ice rink gathers adults and kids who enjoy outdoor ice skating each year. In 2018, the rink opens on December 1. The skating session lasts 45 minutes and costs UAH 70.
As for the skates, rental for one session costs UAH 50. You can also get them sharpened for UAH 100. To rent the skates, visitors have to make a deposit of UAH 300 or leave a document. The entertainment park that hosts the ice rink works daily from 10.30 A.M. to 12 A.M.
