Ukraine is known for many things and among them are rather decent prices for mobile data and Wi-Fi. While many companies still are on the way to introduce the English language on their websites, we chose 5 best internet providers in Ukraine and their tariffs from the most basic to the high-speed ones.

Lanet

According to the ain.ua magazine rate, the company secured the 3d position among the most popular Internet service providers in Ukraine. Unlimited Internet, as well as cable TV, is what attracts customers in Lanet. Connection to this company is free for those who live in the apartment buildings. Currently, Lanet offers three tariffs for the Internet connection: Diamond (500 Mbit/s), Ruby (300 Mbit/s), and Corund (100 Mbit/s).

The Diamond tariff provides access to the Internet at speed up to 1000 Mbit/s for the first 3000 GB of the traffic. After that, the access speed will be maintained at 500 Mbps until the end of the current service period. The price of the service is UAH 237 per month with a 50% discount for every third month of the contract.

The Ruby tariff sets the speed up to 1000 Mbit/s for the first 1500 GB of the traffic and 300 Mbps for the following period. The price of the service is UAH 187 per 30 days. No promotions or discounts are currently available for this tariff package.

Finally, the cheapest tariff from Lanet, Corund, offers unlimited Internet connection with the speed up to 100 Mbit/s. The company charges UAH 147 for the period of 30 days.

Apart from the mentioned deals, Lanet has "Internet+TV" packages for those who'd like to enjoy both and pay less. The company has 24/7 customer support. However, the site is currently only available in Ukrainian and Russian.

Kyivstar

According to the American consulting group of Deloitte, Kyivstar currently belongs to the 500 largest companies of Central and Eastern Europe and has more than 26 million customers.

The tariff rate from Kyivstar currently lies below the average Internet cost in Ukraine - UAH 90 per month compared to the average UAH 140+. It's worth noting that the first installment for connection is UAH 180 as you pay for the first two months in one go. For this price, Kyivstar offers unlimited Internet connection with the speed up to 100 Mbit/s. Depending on the customer's location, one might need to buy a router: the usual for UAH 300 or PRO for UAH 1000.

For those who'd like to kill two birds with one stone, Kyivstar offers a package "Mobile + Internet" with USD 50 discount. The price starts at UAH 140 depending on the mobile contract. The information can be found on Kyivstar website in Ukrainian or Russian.

The company commonly uses Dosis and Ethernet all over Ukraine and provides the best Internet tech, GEPON, in Kyiv and Donetsk. The technology lets the user use the connection with the speed up to 10 Gb/s.

The standard package is called Internet 100 and provides unlimited data with the speed up to 100 Mbit/s. The price is UAH 145 per months. Currently, Volia offers a promotion: UAH 79 during the 4 months of the promo. Volia Turbo is the second option offered by the company: unlimited traffic is available with the speed up to 200 Mbit/s. The package costs UAH 169. The promo currently offers the same deal for UAH 99 during the 4 months of usage.

Finally, those who'd like to enjoy Volia cable TV and the Internet might be interested in "Internet + Volia TV" package with the speed up to 200 Mbit/s and a mobile app for the phone or tablet to watch favorite movies or TV-series. This tariff costs UAH 169 per month and UAH 99 with the current promo.

Volia also offers additional services like a static IP for UAH 25 per month, anti-spam software for UAH 15 per month and Hyperspeed function that boosts the speed to the maximum capacity of the network for UAH 5 per day. Vega

Nowadays Vega is present in 22 regions of Ukraine and has more than 150 000 Internet users. The company offers four packages conveniently divided by purposes: Internet connection for apartments, houses, Thrifty Internet, and the High-speed Internet: 1000 Mbit/s with the GEPON technology.

Unlimited Internet with the speed up to 100 Mbit/s for the apartment costs UAH 140. Currently, Vega offers a large discount: the same package for UAH 70 per month. There's a notable discount for connection in the houses as well: while usually the installation costs UAH 1400, nowadays Vega offers to do it for UAH 1. Unlimited Internet with the speed up to 100 Mbit/s in this package costs UAH 180 per month.

Those who don't need high-speed Internet may be interested in the Thrifty Internet tariff, which offers unlimited data with the speed up to 20 Mbit/s. The price is UAH 100 and UAH 60 with the current discount. As for the last option, the High-speed 1000 Mbit/s Internet thanks to the GPON technology costs UAH 149 per months. Triolan

The company covers the largest regions in the country, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, and others. Kharkiv is by far the biggest client of this provider. The tariff plans from Triolan are quite simple: regular 100 Mbit/s Internet for apartments, high-speed 1000 Mbit/s for apartments, and 100 Mbit/s for houses. The latter demands installing an optical network unit and a router.

The monthly cost for the regular Internet is UAH 150 for apartments and UAH 180 for houses. As for the high-speed connection, the price is currently UAH 200 per month. You can also buy the additional static IP for UAH 60 per months. All the details concerning the three plans are available on the Triolan website in Ukrainian and Russian.

While these companies are currently among the most popular, the rate of providers of Internet connection in Ukraine changes every year. The English-speaking service is yet to appear in many of them, so having a friend fluent in Ukrainian or Russian for translation might be a good idea.
