EscoBar
The new EscoBar opened instead of La Bodeguita Del Medio on Yaroslaviv Val has nothing to do with Pablo Escobar despite what it might initially seem. As the bar's sign hints, "esco" is short from "escondido", which means hidden. EscoBar's menu introduces all kinds of underrepresented in Kyiv Latin American culinary classics: Ceviche de mariscos (lime-marinated Nile perch fillet), Paella de mariscos (arborio, tiger & cocktail prawns, mussels, tomatoes, garlic, onion, sweet peppers, saffron, cream), two types of burritos, tacos, quesadilla and nachos.
The bar specializes in rum and various Cuban specials. So the cocktail list is divided into Cuban cocktails like various types of Mojito, Daiquiri and Margarita, rum cocktails like Mai Tai and Cuba Libre, classics like Negroni and hot cocktails for winter like Cuban coffee with Capitan Morgan Spiced Black.
