Mayak located near the Silver Breeze shopping mall has several halls for visitor’s convenience: the largest main hall, a smaller hall on the second floor, as well as two banquet halls for festive celebrations. Sure enough, two terraces near the water grab the attention the most. Both provide a nice vista of the Dnipro River, the Paton Bridge and the right bank of Kyiv.

The menu in Mayak is focused on seafood instead of the traditional focus on a single cuisine. Thus, the 'sea' section on the menu includes dishes from lobster (salad, pasta, steamed or grilled lobster); squid with rice and spinach; baked salmon with rice and asparagus; rapa whelk or shrimps risotto; shrimps barbeque and fried mullus. Besides, there's a special dish for a big company - turbot in mussel sauce with spinach and vegetable mix. Note that this dish has to be ordered beforehand.
Seafood is also present in other sections like salads, which offers a Black Caesar with crabmeat, cherry tomatoes, romano and black aioli, or pasta with seafood. Two types of oysters are available in the restaurant and are served in a wine sauce. 
Appetizers include among others farmer's cheese, beef tartare, salmon carpaccio and grilled squid. Grilled dishes make up a separate section: Mayak offers Ribeye, T-Bone, Tomahawk, as well as a salmon steak and a lamb rack. Finally, the desserts include Italian and French classics like panna cotta and mille-feuille, as well as Ukrainian smetannyk cake.
Mayak boasts of a wine room that has about 250 types of wine from sparkling to harsh. Competent staff will assist with the perfect choice for the evening. Hookah is also available here and represented with the classic hand, Buta and Bali tobaccos and premium Fumari and Milano. You can order a grapefruit, pomegranate, pineapple and even a cactus hookah.
