Low-cost airline WizzAir once again has changed their luggage safety policy. This time it's even more strict and concerns hand luggage you can take in the cabin. According to the new rules, every passenger is entitled to bring only one free carry-on bag (40x30x20 cm) on board. Those who purchase Wizz Priority can take a second piece of hand luggage - a trolley bag (55x40x23 cm). The rules come into force on November 1. Those passengers who bought tickets without purchasing Wizz Priority before November 10 will be allowed to carry free 10kg checked in bag on board.
Another policy update to mind from WizzAir is online check-in period. Now, online check-in will be different depending on whether you purchased a seat during booking or not. For those who selected a seat, online check-in will be available from 30 days up to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. In case you have not purchased any seats, check-in will be available only 48 hours before the flight. Mind that the airport check-in on WizzAir website costs €10, while at WizzAir desk it costs €30.
