Summer is getting closer to an end, yet the best time to travel only begins. Wizz Air adds 5 new flights from Ukraine to different destinations in Europe this autumn and Ryanair offers good deals for an autumn getaway to shiny Italy and Spain.

Plane flyingLowcost airline Ryanair and KBP Boryspil Airport have agreed on the time slots for the future flights. The two-year struggle of entering the Ukrainian market is finally over — starting autumn 2018, Ryanair will operate flights from Kyiv and Lviv to more than 15 destinations. Tickets are already available for booking.

While major international companies come to Ukraine, a new local airline has appeared in July. According to the State Register of Civil Aircraft, a Dream Wind airline has two Boeing 737-300 planes. The details about its future destinations are yet to be announced.

New Flights

Timetable at the airportLowcost airline Wizz Air brings good news for Ukrainians this summer. To start with, there will be two more flights from Lviv starting late October 2018: Lviv – Bratislava that will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and Lviv – Vilnius on Fridays and Mondays. The tickets are available for booking. The prices start at around UAH 500.

Kharkiv will get three new flights from Wizz Air as well: Kharkiv – Wroclaw, Kharkiv – Gdansk and much awaited non-stop Kharkiv – London (Luton). The flights to Poland will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. The tickets are available for booking with the price starting at UAH 300.

As for the flight to London, it will be scheduled three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The lowest available price is a one-way ticket for UAH 609, which includes only hand luggage. Besides, the company plans to launch new flights from Kyiv to Paris (Beauvais), Copenhagen and Brussels (Charleroi). The information about the schedule is yet to be announced.

The available destinations include Rome, Milan, Naples, Venice and Bologna for any dates from November 2018 till March 2019. At the moment, the price for a round-trip starts at €85.

Spain also seems to be a desired destination this autumn — Ukrainian International Airlines sell tickets to Barcelona dated from October 2018 till spring 2019 starting at €100. An even more attractive deal is Kyiv — Barcelona from Ryanair that starts at €80.
