Lovers' Bridge
The Lovers’ bridge is a place where many romantic couples meet in the capital. This bridge has been a silent witness of many marriage proposals. It is also a place where amorous poets come to write their love lyrics on the railing. Many couples come here to hang locks with their names, or tie ribbons on the banister of the bridge as a symbol of true love. Thus, they swear to love each other forever. This pedestrian bridge in downtown Kyiv was built in 1912 and has always been called the most romantic place in the city. You can get to the Lovers’ bridge from the Arsenalna metro station - just walk through the Mariinsky park.

Fountain of Desires
Unlike usual fountains, the Fountain of Desires is located on the wall of the Intercontinental hotel. The fountain consists of 21 bowls with the images of Nike, the Greek goddess. All bowls are covered with thin layers of gold leaf. On a bright sunny day the fountain sparkles like diamonds in all its glory. Every day loving couples come here to make a wish, because they truly believe that Nika will hear their wishes and make them true one day.

Zamkova Hora (Castle Hill)
Located at a height of 80 meters, Zamkova Hora is one of the most romantic places in Kyiv. Once here stood a castle built by the Lithuanian Prince Vladimir Olgerdovich, hence the place's name. The location gives an opportunity for the loving couples to enjoy the beautiful views of the Dnipro river and historical Podil district. To reach the hill, you have to climb a metal staircase with 120 steps - but that is not an obstacle for real love.

Navodnitsky Park
A picturesque Navodnitsky Park is located on the Dnipro river. At the very center of the park stands a monument with the Boat with the founders of Kyiv, erected in 1982. This place is always full of newlyweds who come here for a memorable photoshoot after their wedding ceremony. According to the legend, if the newlyweds turn back to the bronze boat, throw the bouquet together and the bouquet gets into the boat, then they will live a happy and peaceful life.

Landscape Alley
The Landscape Alley was built in the early 1980s by an architect Avraam Miletsky. This scenic place in the city center is great for contemplating the sunset with your loved ones or exploring a variety of unique sculptures with fairy-tale characters. What's more, you will be able to enjoy a great view on the historical Podil district, located in the lowest part of the city.

Hryshko National Botanical Garden
There’s hardly a better place to have a romantic walk than a spacious botanical garden with the abundance of beautiful trees and flowers. Despite the popular misconception, Hryshko Botanical Garden lures in hundreds of visitors not only during the magnolia bloom, which usually happens in early May but at any free minute throughout the year. Its vast territory full of soft green slopes is a perfect place to lie down with your beloved one and contemplate nature — preferably with a glass of wine.
