The works of the talented Vinnitsa born artist have long been known among art connoisseurs not only in Ukraine, but also far beyond its borders. So Lilia's works have already attracted the attention of art collectors in Greece and Italy. Recentlythe artist's paths have crossed with the Italian island of Murano and, in particular, with one of the most respected galleries of the island “Murano Art Glass”, whose clients are George Clooney, Sylvester Stallone, Tom Hamilton and other worldwide famous personalities. So the fruitful art cooperation with Italy continues. And now the Kiev audience has an opportunity to appreciate the unique author’s works.
Lilia Zadoyanchuk's creativity takes its roots in the theater. Amazing colors, playing with forms and light, sometimes exaggerated brightness and luxury, which are associated with theatrical performance, Italian carnival, mysterious brilliance and splendor of carnival masks and costumes – are characteristic features of Lilia's works. It is not surprising that her works are appreciated in Italy, and among those, presented at the exhibition we can see the cozy romantic streets of mysterious Venice.
Another facet of the author's personality is her passion for Asia - costumes, exquisite interior items, sculpture and music. Lilia is mesmerized by the beauty of the rainforest, flora and fauna of this region. “Asia is my backstage”, - admits the artist.
A variety of natural motives awaits the spectacular in the exposition: exotic birds with iridescent tails, flowers and herbs, mysterious inhabitants of the underwater kingdom, enchanting jellyfish, coral reefs, fish and amazing turtles. The artist draws our attention to the grace and at the same time the fragility, vulnerability of nature and wants us to shift the focus from ourselves and see that immense luxury that God has given us for reasonable management and harmonious life.
“Lilia's creativity gives a feeling of celebration, deep delight from meeting with a fixed moment of beauty modern people are so tired without. We are arranged such a way: in order to discover, to see beauty, we need a certain signal, a push, a bright flash. And the unique artist’s technique becomes such a flash. Lilia seems to hold in her hands a magic key that opens the door to the wonderland, to the magical looking glass world, where beauty and harmony live”, - says the curator of the exhibition Marianna Abramova.
