Holiday Fashion Week was first held in 2007 and immediately occupied an important place in Ukrainian, and later in international, fashion schedule, attracting more and more designers and media. Traditionally, Odesa Holiday Fashion Week welcomes the vibrant fashion crowd, authentic collections, attention of international fashion media and a great number of talented fashion designers. Odesa Holiday Fashion Week is also the only cruise fashion week in the Central Europe. During four days of the event guests and journalists attended over 30 events – fashion shows, presentations, art projects and fashion parties.
So what are the key fashion trends for this summer season, Ukrainian fashionistas should pay close attention to? Summer 2017 takes fashion back to the drawing board, re-defining a confident look with exaggerated lines, metallic effects, graphic prints on new-generation trenches and bright candy pink and sunshine yellow. Summer 2017 fashion trends range from super-bright colors to a new wave of sheer dresses. 

Think pink

At the top of the list for the trends of the season is pink, as candy pink, baby pink, deep cherry and raspberry provide a sweet new way to see fashion through rose-tinted glasses.

Space style

Head-to-to white and a slim silhouette is the minimalist take on futurist fashion this season, accented with patches slogans and moto stripes.

Arty pop

From criss-cross stripes to in-your-face color, fashion has gone graphic for summer 2017. Think vibrant, geometric prints, as spotted on the knitwear.

Flower power

Florals are no surprise for spring, but next season brings blossom prints up to date in all-over Seventies style, flirting a little with the kitsch.

Saturday night fever

Sequins and shimmer set the runways on fire this Fashion Week. Minis are out and long sparkling sheaths are in, along with Seventies references and Bianca Jagger-style pyjamas.

Summer 2017 fashion trends range from super-bright colors to a new wave of sheer dresses. '80s-inspired shoulders, washes of fuchsia pink and canary yellow, new takes on sheer and ruffled textures - all these fashion trends have already rocked Odesa Holiday Fashion Week catwalks and now are ready to be taken straight to the streets by fashion conscious Ukrainian crowd.
