Naked man on the theater stage

For someone, autumn is a dull period of melancholy, but for true lovers of theatre it's the long-awaited beginning of the new theatrical season. In the past few years, the independent theater Misanthrope became widely-known for presenting the yet unexplored elements of Ukrainian theater space. The ability to be multi-genre is confirmed by every premiere, radically different from the previous performance in the Misanthrope's repertoire. Let's see what's in for the new autumn season.

The last season was notable by the two ambitious plays: the site-specific play "Blindness" and a scandal-esthetic co-production with the Theater on Podil "The Oresteia".

If you haven't yet managed to witness the performance in absolute darkness, then you can test yourself at the next performances of "Blindness" on September 17 and 18 in the port-creative hub in Kyiv.

The performance impresses with visual and audible perfection - video projections on different planes (Tenpoint visual artists - Maxim Poberezhsky, Alexey Tishchenko), not only supplement the nature of the human body and the ancient Greek tragedy, but also interact with it.

"The Oresteia" will electrify the air once more on September 27 and 28.
