Atlas Weekend
Now a world-renowned festival, Atlas Weekend continues expanding and inviting more and more international music stars to please Ukrainian fans. This year the event will take place at the Expocenter of Ukraine. The list of headliners is filled with familiar names that often pop up in music charts: LP, Martin Garrix, The Chemical Brothers, Tom Odell, Nothing but Thieves and Placebo. Guests of the festival will also hear Ukrainian pioneers like СКАЙ, Boombox, Pianoboy and newcomers like an Internet-famous singer Luna. The ticket price starts at UAH 1700.

Ivana Kupala Celebrations
A great chance to witness traditional Ukrainian festivities passed down by generations will come up at the beginning of July. The celebration takes place on the night of July 6 to commemorate summer solstice. Many Ukrainians celebrate Kupala Night with bonfires that last throughout the night and some people leap over the flames, as it is believed that the act of jumping over the bonfire cleanses people of illness and bad luck. Modern festivities include all traditional rites with contemporary additions like live music and fun fairs.

Santa Muerte Carnival
Summer 2018 in Ukraine will introduce not only Ukrainian but also worldwide cultural rites. The traditional Mexican Santa Muerte carnival celebrates the Lady of Holy Death, a female deity of Mexican folk religion. The carnival takes place in Mexico as well as in the Southwestern United States and gathers millions of tourists each year. This year, a bright celebration of the summer festival will also take place on Art-zavod Platforma in Kyiv. Organizers of the event promise a colorful parade, various Mexican food stalls and a load of Margaritas. Ticket price starts at UAH 100.

Hedonism Festival
The third anniversary of the famous Hedonism festival will take place on the no less famous Kyiv beach - UBK. Thanks to the lovely summer weather, guests will have a chance to enjoy the stars of world electronic music with the right vibe. The headliners of the event are David August, a critically acclaimed musician from Germany known for memorable live performances and Lapalux from Great Britain, who will perform in Ukraine for the first time. Besides, the music program for the night will include Ukrainian artists like Katro Zauber, Alina Pash and Hidden Element. Ticket price starts at UAH 650.

LvivMozArt
A new initiative of the Bavarian State Opera conductor and Lviv authorities brings together history and music in Ukraine. The festival is dedicated to Franz Xaver Mozart, son of the famous composer, who had lived in Lviv from 1808 to 1830. Lviv Opera House will host a string of concerts, featuring international opera starts, love letter readings, as well as a grand violin concert with the instrument used by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Besides, LvivMozArt will also include workshops for adults and kids, as well as art exhibitions. The ticket price differs depending on the event and starts at UAH 200.

Odesa International Film Festival
Surely the most important cinema event in Ukraine, Odesa International Film Festival is an event of the all-European scale. As usual, guests are promised 9 premier showings, workshops from world-famous directors, as well as an open-air performance. The latter is the most-awaited festival event of the year - Potemkin Stairs will host an open-air movie showing set to the music of a live symphonic orchestra. This year the festival officials chose Safety Last!, a 1923 silent movie with the renowned Harold Lloyd.

Jazz Fest on Dnipro
The annual jazz festival in Dnipro celebrates the 50th anniversary in 2018. That's why this year guests are promised something special - from workshops of the world jazz stars to musical animation for kids. Headliners of the festival include a three-time Grammy and Tony Awards winner Dee Dee Bridgewater and a four-time Downbeat Jazz Soloist Awards winner Troy Roberts. Jazz trios and bands from the USA, Ukraine, Japan and Australia will also take part in this year's festival. Ticket price starts at UAH 250.
