New Steps in Cultural Diplomacy between Ukraine and Montenegro

Writer, historian, teacher Vanja Vukovic initiated a meeting of the President of the Association for the Development of International Relations "ADRUM" Tetyana Kolesnichenko with the Director of the Podgorica Museums and Galleries, Sid Jocai. Together, they discussed representation of the Ukrainian art in Montenegro.

Tetyana Kolesnichenko offered to hold exhibitions of Ukrainian decorative and fine art, united in one big project, in order to fully present Ukrainian art to Montenegrins and guests of the country.

The cultural project includes cooperation with one of the main Ukrainian museums - the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko. Other galleries, artistic associations and outstanding creative personalities in the field of art will take part in the project as well. Previously, ADRUM organized a cultural event between the National Taras Shevchenko Museum and the Solidarity Gallery in Kotor, which marked the beginning of cultural diplomacy between Ukraine and Montenegro.

Tetyana Kolesnichenko also visited the Montenegro Fashion Week, where she met with its organizer Srdjan Lubarda to discuss cooperation in the field of fashion and design.
