UNIT.Talk | Critical Thinking: Where The Truth Lies

UNIT.Talk | Critical Thinking workshop

Critical thinking is one of the top 10 skills that will be most desired by employers by 2020, according to the World Economic Forum. What is critical thinking? Why it is one of the most sought-after skills in almost every industry and every workplace?

During the master class with Susana Torres Prieto, Professor of Humanities, IE University and IE Business School UNIT.Talk will help you to discover what is it that we can know, and how can we actually know it. Critical thinking, as a powerful analytical method trains us to take a step back, to evaluate facts and form evidence-based conclusions. That means checking the facts instead of copy pasting, confronting inconvenient truth and listening to the opposing side instead of staying in a comfortable bubble. The good news is critical thinking is a skill that can be taught.

The agenda:

  • How to become critical thinkers?
  • How critical thinking can contribute to management?
  • How to deal with the contradictions of turbulent environments in a reasoned and productive way?
  • How to analyze information objectively and make a reasoned judgments?

Come and discover your own path to critical thinking.
