The laboratory in Kyiv became the 6th in the global network of DGI Syngenta. The company has implemented 5 similar projects in different countries around the world for the past year and a half. Currently, DGI successfully operates in the United States, China, India, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
According to Benjamin Ninio, the head of Global Syngenta Digital Technologies, DGI in Kyiv is one of the most ambitious projects that will bring new valuable practical experience as well as opportunities for the further development of the entire network of Laboratories.
The Ukrainian DGI will complement the work of the institutions with greater operational capabilities, offering a full range of development solutions - from research and simulation of test samples of digital products to the creation of sample versions of a product ready for launch with real users integrated with Syngenta's systems.
In addition, the activities of DGI in Kyiv will be aimed at providing digital innovations to Ukrainian agricultural producers, as well as servicing agribusiness in other European countries.
The lab is fully equipped with the necessary equipment and software, which allows the team of high-class professionals to create digital products of a wide range in the field of WEB-development, big data, mobile applications, virtual reality, and the Internet of things.
The Laboratory plans to cooperate with universities and research centers, as well as with startups in the digital and agronomic fields, in order to develop creative ideas, provide accelerated design and experimentation, and, of course, create finished products with further scaling. Potential clients of DGI include partners and clients of Syngenta, as well as agricultural producers from all over Europe.
