Ciklum
Ciklum is large international IT company with headquarters in Kyiv. Based in 2002, in the mere ten years, it was included in the Forbes top-5 of the biggest outsourcing companies in Ukraine. Ciklum is specialized in enterprise application development, quality assurance, security, R&D, big data & analytics. The company has numerous successful cases. The following ones are among them: development of a compact cardiac monitor for children's cardiology center and a smart defibrillator.
More than 3000 developers work on various solutions, making Ciklum one of the biggest IT companies in Ukraine. The effort and professionalism pay off, as 25 of Ciklum customers have reached the IPO stage. Another record-breaking fact is that Ciklum was the first company in Europe to receive IC Agile certification way back in 2009.
The enterprise is also engaged in providing and expanding IT education in Ukraine: more than 100 developer events per month like hackathons and seminars are hosted by Ciklum. Besides, in 2014 the company initiated the creation of Brain Basket Foundation, aimed at financing free computer programming courses.
Infopulse
Infopulse is one of the oldest IT companies in Ukraine, founded in 1991 by Aleksey Sigov and Andrey Anissimov. Nowadays, the company is one of the leading outsourcing centers in Eastern Europe. The enterprise is a part of the Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative, EBA, and Lviv IT Cluster, which unite top Ukrainian IT companies that specialize in information technologies.
Infopulse deals with cases in software engineering, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity. Known for its reliability, Infopulse has built a large client base over the 25 years: companies like Bosch, Gorenje, Kyivstar, UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group and British American Tobacco are among its customers. The company prides in providing services for Fortune 100 corporations from all over the world.
Like Ciklum, Infopulse also takes an active part in educational processes in Ukraine and is engaged in charity by providing help for disabled military veterans, orphans, and people with Down syndrome.
N-iX
N-iX is one of the fastest-growing companies in Ukraine. In three years, N-iX managed to show +331% growth, which resulted in being the first Ukrainian company to be included in the Software 500. N-iX has also been repeatedly recognized as one of the best outsourcing companies in the world by IAOP. It is certified with ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS Compliance.
The key industries N-iX provides services to are FinTech, Telecom, Finance & Banking and Healthcare. By partnering with independent software vendors, growing startups and financial institutions, N-iX has managed to accumulate a wide client base.
Initially, the company started out as a startup called NovelliX in Lviv in 2002. A year later, Novell bought the product developed by the company and became the first partner of the future Ukrainian IT leader. SoftServe was founded way back in 1993 in Lviv; and nowadays it is one of the biggest Ukrainian IT companies. SoftServe is a leading specialist in consulting and software development, offering services in big data, cloud computing, e-commerce, DevOps and the promptly-developing Internet of Things. Initially, SoftServe was recognized and supported by the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Incubator Center.
The list of its clients includes General Electric, Google and Microsoft. The latter invited the company officials to speak at the annual company conference to share successful experience in developing Microsoft Bird's Eye. SoftServe now boasts 3500 customer projects and NPS 70. The company was numerously included in the Global Outsourcing 100 list throughout 2010-2015. Among its accomplishments is creation of the Lviv Business School on the basis of the Ukrainian Catholic University, which has become largely popular since 2008.
Eleks
Also known as Eleks Software, this company was established in 1991 by Oleksiy Skrypnyk and his son Oleksiy Skrypnyk, Jr. Nowadays Eleks is a large enterprise included in The Global Outsourcing 100. The company works with enterprises in Media, Retail, Finance, Healthcare and Agriculture.
Among the list of its clients are Fortune 500 companies and revolutionaries of challenging technology. Eleks successfully delivered more than 500 end-to-end projects in custom software development, retail solutions, advanced analytics and quickly developing spheres of virtual reality, drones and wearables development.
Miratech
While nowadays Miratech is headquartered in New York, not many people know that it has been founded in Kyiv by the graduates of the Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics way back in 1989. Now Miratech is among the best IT companies of the world, included in the Global Services 100, Global Outsourcing 100 and Software 500. According to the IAOP data, it also belongs to the top-5 of the best companies in Eastern Europe.
Miratech specializes at IT consulting starting from start-ups and mid-sized businesses to multinational companies. Among the extensive list of its services are business process outsourcing, testing and QA, cloud computing, enterprise application integration, customer relationship management, and end user support. Up to date, Miratech has 870 employees and continues growing. It’s certified with ISO 9001, CMM Level 3, ISO 27001 and ISO 22301.
Intellias
Intellias started out as a joint project of university graduates Vitaly Sedler and Michael Puzrakov. The CEOs chose to focus on the DACH region. Nowadays the company continues to provide services to various enterprises in the UK and the DACH, Benelux, and Nordic countries. In 16 years, the company opened three offices in Ukraine and one representative office in Berlin. Intellias has ISO/IEC 27001:2013, and ISO 14001 effective EMS certificates.
Nowadays the company has 43 active clients, among them top global companies like Siemens, Nokia, Microsoft, Roche, AdsWizz, RTL Group and Kia. The company boasts effectiveness, namely their record of taking a single customer from 0 to 100 engineers in less than a year.
Ukrainian IT industry is promptly developing and is recognized by the leaders of opinion like IAOP. We hope that in the nearest years, more and more Ukrainian enterprises will be included in the global 100 lists.
