The Most Famous Ukrainian IT Companies in the World

In 2018, the Global Outsourcing 100 list of the best IT companies in the world included 18 Ukrainian enterprises. Given that the local IT sector is currently worth 3,6 billion dollars, the fact isn’t exactly surprising. However, people who don’t work in the industry aren’t really familiar with the biggest names of the business. Let’s make it clear with the top IT companies in Ukraine.

Ciklum

Circlum IT company conferenceCiklum is large international IT company with headquarters in Kyiv. Based in 2002, in the mere ten years, it was included in the Forbes top-5 of the biggest outsourcing companies in Ukraine. Ciklum is specialized in enterprise application development, quality assurance, security, R&D, big data & analytics. The company has numerous successful cases. The following ones are among them: development of a compact cardiac monitor for children's cardiology center and a smart defibrillator.

More than 3000 developers work on various solutions, making Ciklum one of the biggest IT companies in Ukraine. The effort and professionalism pay off, as 25 of Ciklum customers have reached the IPO stage. Another record-breaking fact is that Ciklum was the first company in Europe to receive IC Agile certification way back in 2009.

The enterprise is also engaged in providing and expanding IT education in Ukraine: more than 100 developer events per month like hackathons and seminars are hosted by Ciklum. Besides, in 2014 the company initiated the creation of Brain Basket Foundation, aimed at financing free computer programming courses.

Infopulse

Infopulse IT company conferenceInfopulse is one of the oldest IT companies in Ukraine, founded in 1991 by Aleksey Sigov and Andrey Anissimov. Nowadays, the company is one of the leading outsourcing centers in Eastern Europe. The enterprise is a part of the Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative, EBA, and Lviv IT Cluster, which unite top Ukrainian IT companies that specialize in information technologies.

Infopulse deals with cases in software engineering, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity. Known for its reliability, Infopulse has built a large client base over the 25 years: companies like Bosch, Gorenje, Kyivstar, UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group and British American Tobacco are among its customers. The company prides in providing services for Fortune 100 corporations from all over the world.

Like Ciklum, Infopulse also takes an active part in educational processes in Ukraine and is engaged in charity by providing help for disabled military veterans, orphans, and people with Down syndrome.

N-iX

N-iX IT company officeN-iX is one of the fastest-growing companies in Ukraine. In three years, N-iX managed to show +331% growth, which resulted in being the first Ukrainian company to be included in the Software 500. N-iX has also been repeatedly recognized as one of the best outsourcing companies in the world by IAOP. It is certified with ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS Compliance.

The key industries N-iX provides services to are FinTech, Telecom, Finance & Banking and Healthcare. By partnering with independent software vendors, growing startups and financial institutions, N-iX has managed to accumulate a wide client base.

Initially, the company started out as a startup called NovelliX in Lviv in 2002. A year later, Novell bought the product developed by the company and became the first partner of the future Ukrainian IT leader. N-iX formed strategic partnerships with various global industry leaders including OpenText, Lebara, Gogo, Currencycloud, RateSetter and StreamServe. SoftServe
