The first month of autumn in Lviv was full of festivals starting from the famous Lviv Coffee Festival to the book Publisher Forum. The nearing networking event IT Arena Lviv will gather top global minds of the business and technology world. The end of September also brings important news for those who often travel to Poland by train — Intercity will change its schedule and final destination.

The biggest IT conference in Eastern Europe

Man talking at an IT conferenceSeptember 28 marks the opening of the 5th IT Arena, one of the biggest IT events in Europe and the largest Lviv IT conference. This time, visitors will have a chance to meet experts and leaders of opinion from top international companies like Facebook, Uber, Google and others. The conference will last from September 28 to September 30 and will be divided into 4 thematic sections: technology, business, product and startup. West Tattoo Fest 2018

Woman with a tattooFans of tattoo might be interested in one of the largest thematic festivals of the country - West Tattoo Fest 2018 that will be held this September in Lviv. The 9th international convention will gather well-known masters and new names of the industry that will compete for the title of the best artist in more than 15 nominations. Apart from the tattoo contests and shows, visitors will also have a chance to listen to live music and try to win a certificate for a free tattoo. West Tattoo Fest will be held on September 28-30 in Lviv Palace of Arts.

Lviv is one of the safest cities in Ukraine

Thus, one of the largest global databases Numbeo has published the rate of the safest cities in the world. Lviv was ranked the 121st with safety index 60.08% today. To compare, the capital of Ukraine ranked at 198th position, making it the least safe from Ukrainian cities.

Other winners include Lviv Coffee Manufacture on Soborna Square ("The coziest coffee shop"), Atlas ("Coffee with history"), 36Po ("Discovery of the year"), Coffee Lab ("Best coffee-to-go") and others.

Lviv beer is one of the best in Europe

The article notes that the prices are quite cheap for a drink in or take away. Besides, according to the Guardian, Pravda Beer Theatre is Lviv’s “a great spot to enjoy Lviv's Renaissance architecture”.

The bar occupies a corner building on Rynok Square, which used to be an upscale department store with over 200 years of history. Visitors often advise to skip the food and instead check the place's concert schedule online to enjoy an evening of good music and an impressive selection of craft beer brands on offer.

Changes in the schedule of Lviv-Przemyśl Express

Intercity train in UkraineUkrzaliznytsia implemented changes in Lviv-Przemyśl express, which is a popular way to get to Poland from Ukraine. According to the information, during the period of November 12-16, Intercity train #706/705 Lviv-Przemyśl will stop at the Medyka station in Poland. In their turn, Polish railways will organize bus transfers to Przemyśl from Medyka. The bus will leave at 12.37 P.M. and leave from Przemyśl at 2.39 P.M.
