Gvozdoff
Gvozdoff ski complex was opened two years ago in Hvosdiv village and quickly became a rival of other ski and sledding spots around Kyiv. On the territory of the complex you will find three routes (220, 200 and 50 meters) and two lifts (tow and multilift). The quirk of the place is an artifical snow making system, which allows visitors to plan their trips in any weather. Springboard for snowboarding lovers is also available here. In addition, Gvozdoff complex has an ice rink, hotel and restaurant.

Holosiievo
A well-known sledding family spot, this spot is located not far from Holosiievo metro station. Another way to reach the place is by car. Conveniently, the parking lot has 300 places to fit all visitors. Approximately 500 meters of various tracks are available here to enjoy the day. Tow lift is available here so that the visitors have no need to walk all the way up the hill. Several hotel rooms, medical services, cafe and free Wi-Fi are present all here.

Park of Eternal Glory

Many kids who grew up in Kyiv remember their parents taking them to this park in winter. Conveniently located near the Arsenalna metro station, this place has been gathering sledding fans for many years. For those who enjoy the speed, steep slopes will be the place spot to go. Kids and rookies will be more comfortable at the more gentle slopes. Each hill overlooks Dnipro River and the left bank of Kyiv, creating an amazing view. The park is opened 24/7 and the entrance is free.

Hryshko National Botanical Garden
This beloved spot for picnics in summer and long walks in autumn delivers in winter, too. Hryshko National Botanical Garden is located on Pechersk and stands on a hilly surface, so finding the perfect hill for sledding won't be difficult. The views are astonishing here as well – frozen lakes, busy Kyiv center and the park itself. Entrance here costs UAH 40 for adults, UAH 20 for school students and is free for kids up to the age of 7. Botanical Garden works 24/7, so it's convenient to plan the visit any time.

Park Of Partisan Glory
Another free of charge 24/7 spot, Park of Partisan Glory has been well-equipped for recreation these recent years. It's a beloved spot for extreme activities like a rope park, as well as long strolls and relaxing by the lake. When winter comes, the slopes are an excellent location for sledding. Fomin Botanical Garden
The Fomin Botanical Garden is located right next to the University metro station. Visitors can also reach the place from the Central Railway station - a walk that will take no more than 20 minutes. In spring, everyone comes here to cherish the blooming magnolias, and in winter the slopes of Botanical garden become an excellent place for sledding in Kyiv. Adults traditionally prefer to ride on the steeper slopes, and children find the gentle hills or ornate alleys.

Obolonska Quay

This place gathers the whole district in summer and spring to take long and relaxing strolls or have a picnic near water. Now, when the snow hits, concrete slabs which stretch along the Obolonska waterfront become a popular place for sledding. The only requirement here is abundance of snow, because the slabs are much more difficult to slide than the earthy slopes in the park. Nevertheless, Obolonska Quay is easy to reach and it is full of cafes to warm up in or take a hot drink or food to-go.

Syretskyi Hai
Syretskyi Hai, which is also called "Dubki", due to the fact that most of the park is planted with perennial oaks, is a lesser known sledding spot in Kyiv. The forest park on the territory of Shevchenkivskyi and Podil districts is curiously hidden away from the big intestates – that's why the air here is always fresh. Abundance of hills and ravines, which are suitable for sledging lure both kids and adults from the neighbouring houses. The park works 24/7 and the entrance is free.

Feofaniya park
This park, located in the historical area, has long become a beloved place of Kyiv dwellers at any time of the year. Located in the Holosiievo district, between Teremky and Holosiievo, its territory covers 150 hectares. Dozens of tree species, bushes and lianas are planted here. Naturally, hills and slopes are also abundant here, and are suitable for both children and adults sledding. Admission for adults is UAH 20, for schoolchildren and students – UAH 5, and for children under 7 years - free of charge. Monthly entrance ticket is available here for UAH 100. The park is opened from 8 A.M. to 11 P.M.
