While some of the old-school brands and concepts have long since been extinct, you might be able to spot a few design elements and performance features that are still present in the modern running shoes you’re wearing now, as well as some of the traits that led to both the minimalist and maximalist cushioning trends of the past decade. All the vintage sneakers fans now can shop for the rare pairs of Nike, Adidas, Air Jordan, Vans, Champion circa 1980 - 2000 at Quickstrike showroom located at downtown Kyiv. The owner of the Quickstrike, Igor Kuznetsov used to sell vintage sports footwear through Vkontakte social network, however, after this network was shut down in Ukraine, Igor opted for a brick-and-mortar shop, which turned to be a success.

The showroom is housed in the premises of an old library. Igor Kuznetsov hunts down the rarest pairs all over Ukraine as well as abroad. Nike, Adidas, Puma, Reebok, New Balance, ASICS, Saucony, Vans, Champion, Fila, Ellesse, Air Jordan - these are the brands available at the showroom right now. The rare models on offer include air Triax, air Rift, air Presto and Nike Cross Training.
