When you enter Woodville store you get into another world, like Alice in Wonderland. At the beginning you are completely lost in all this variety of wonderful things for interior décor. But then you start concentrating on details.
After 10 minutes in this store you understand that you want to change the style of your apartment’s interior completely and that you need to buy a lot of things here already now.
At first, it was very little domestic production of wooden things and then a small workshop appeared 30 km from Kiev. Currently, 8 people work there.
Woodville store was opened in April 2015 at Observatorna street. Anyone can not only buy some things or furniture here but also order items created based on his/her own sketches. Woodville uses natural materials and creates Ecostyle interior.
When you are in this store you suddenly want to try to create something, to do-it-yourself. So I kindly asked Helen (the decorator) to help me with this and to decorate a standard Woodville vase turning it into a gift for Saint Valentine’s Day. It can also be an accessory in any interior.
For our handmade master-class we need twine, a glue-gun, scissors, a fresh twig, fresh flowers and some decorations (wooden heart and wooden kiss).
We glue twigs to the wooden base with the help of glue-gun. Then we fix a wooden heart on a twig and tie up a wooden kiss. We put the fresh flowers and a twig into the tubes.
5 minutes and our festive composition is ready. Come to visit Woodville in Kiev! You’ll enjoy it!
