The interior is the first thing that pleases you here. It is very light, spacious and it reminds you about Greece: combination of blue and white, traditional clay vessels and small orange trees in pots on the tables. There is also natural olive tree here. 
The restaurant is divided into two parts. The first hall has glass windows and an open grill, as well as a showcase with fresh seafood. In the second hall you can retire or sit at the bar counter. Next to this room there is a children's room, where the animator plays with kids. This is definitely a family-type restaurant, which fully corresponds to the traditional Greek idea of what a tavern should look like.

Brand Chef Christos Mihaludis was born and raised in Greece; he began his career as a waiter. Now he is invited as a brand chef by many restaurants around the world. He knows firsthand all about Ukrainian cuisine and Ukrainian character, having lived for a long time in Ukraine and married a Ukrainian woman. Such experience helps him in the work as well, allowing adapting the Greek cuisine to the requests of Ukrainian visitors, especially when our tastes coincide with the Greek ones.
Ukrainians, like the Greeks, love family feasts. The menu of the restaurant allows you to serve a really rich dinner for big family gatherings with delicious food and drinks. All products are very fresh, some of them are delivered to Ukraine directly from Greece, for example, traditional feta cheese and some seafood.
"The Greeks who live in Kyiv and who have already visited this restaurant, say that our dishes are really traditional Greek ones. Such feedback is very important for us. And in general, within a couple of weeks of work we already have our regular customers who like to visit Taverna. This is very inspiring," says Christos.

It makes no sense to tell about all the delicacies, because it is very difficult to convey the unique taste of traditional moussaka, the crunch of fresh vegetables of Greek salad, the aroma of freshly grilled fish, the floral notes of Greek wine and the honey sweetness of the traditional Greek dessert baklava. You just have to come here and try by yourself.
The average bill in the Taverna is about UAH 400. For this money you can enjoy traditional Greek dishes, listen to live Greek music, spend pleasant time in the company of close people in a beautiful and cozy place, and your children will not be bored, having fun in the children's playroom.
