Mr. Fisher: Great food, its presentation and location of the restaurant is comfortable.
Destinations’ review: People come to “Kanapa” restaurant for a dinner ceremony, with respect for the cultural part of the restaurant - the live music. Meal is served in the form of Michelin tasting set: there are 20 minutes pauses in serving during the performance of the actor, afterwards, the second part of serving starts and it’s the time for communication. After this the scheme repeats.

Mr. Fisher: That also features the well regarded mixologist Nazar.
Destinations’ review: All the interior elements are simple but stylish and tend not to distract from the wall, which is dedicated to art: the works by famous and young emerging artists will be always displayed there. The big bar counter is located in the very center of the main hall and can accommodate up to 90 people - it is one of the main emphases of the place. The food menu represents different regions of Ukraine and their traditional food adjusted to modern tendencies. For example, here you can find such exclusive dishes as borshch, prepared according to Ivan Marchuk’s grandmother, traditional Tatar pilaf from model Evelina Mambetova and original colorful ‘Barvy’ dumplings, colored with beetroot, pumpkin and spinach in dough.

Hutorets

Mr. Fisher: It provides amazing boat views and what might be Kiev's only vodka connoisseur room.
Destinations’ review: For the first time this restaurant was opened in 1998. Now it is renewed and it represents modern gastronomic trends of Ukrainian cuisine. Its location on Dnipro River bank is one more advantage. While hot season guests can travel by the river enjoying the food.
