As you enter the place you are welcomed by a beautiful setting, a delightful marriage of home atmosphere and smart dining place comfort. Owners of «Mama ya doma» emphasize that atmosphere of the restaurant is of the utmost importance. It’s very key. The lighting has to be right. And the tables have to be set in the proper way as well. They tried to space tables out nicely so guests have that atmosphere no matter how busy the place gets.

«Mama ya doma» restaurant opened its doors to willing guests on August 12th and is currently functioning in a test mode. The menu might experience some changes. Owners of «Mama ya doma» invite guests to test drive their food and drinks menu with 30% discount on all items and are open for suggestions and good piece of advice.

The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters and main dishes. «Mama ya doma» is Mediterranean cuisine restaurant with many fresh sea-food options. Stanislav Ivchenko, a young and talented chef behind «Mama ya doma» kitchen, worked at «BEEF wine and meat» restaurant in Kiev. Despite his age, Ivchenko is an experienced chef, who will try to create a unique dining experience for «Mama ya doma» guests.

The restaurant puts a strong focus on sourcing the very best products from specialty growers and suppliers. Meat and vegetables are supplied by best local farms; there are imported and locally made cheeses. Bread and pastries are baked daily. The chef takes great care for selecting the best quality ingredients.

Guests can enjoy delicious and healthy breakfast from 7:30 to 11 AM. Brunches are served on weekends from 11 AM to 4 PM in a form of all you can eat buffet and remind more of a relaxed neighborhood party, then your ordinary brunch experience. There will be DJ playing hip background music every Saturday and Sunday. Brunch buffet features beef roast, mussels, shrimps, bruschettas, Thai fries rice and salad bar. The buffet will cost UAH 444 per person, while children under 10 years eat free of charge. Lemonade is included in the price of the buffet menu, wine and other strong drinks will be charged separately. 1 liter of fine home-made Italian wine costs UAH 125.

The wine list and bar selection of «Mama ya doma» isn’t overly extensive, however it can satisfy a demanding connoisseur. The restaurant offers some classic wines but also wines that are less known and from slightly more interesting regions and grape varieties. The cocktails’ list deserves separate mentioning, as it was created by Kiev’s top mixologist Galina Tretyak, resident master-barman at Kiev Buddha Bar. The range of domestic and imported spirits can assure the bar is stocked to satisfy every taste.

The owners-trio of «Mama ya doma» restaurant, Inna, Alexandra and Olga, has been in restaurant biz for many years already. And the time has come to create their own and very unique place. Ladies are sure that good atmosphere at the restaurant comes from guests, their conversations, the clinking of glasses and cutlery. Their key idea was to create a very relaxed environment. Matching interior brightness with outside light was one of the ways to keep the restaurant’s atmosphere relaxed and natural.
